He has extensive clinical experiences working in a number of different settings from providing care for patients in the ICU to working with the pediatric population, as well as, high school, college, and professional athletes. He believes in developing individualized treatment approaches for each of his patients - tailored specifically for their injuries and goals. Philip has taken several courses in pain science, and biomechanics and continues to enrich his knowledge through research. As a Queen’s native Philip spends a lot of time playing basketball - his specialty aside from physical therapy. His dedication to physical therapy was greatly influenced by his love for the sport and his late idol, Kobe Bryant. Growing up watching the sport, Philip witnessed some of the injuries Kobe sustained, which developed his fascination for the human anatomy. Seeing Kobe recover from these injuries through rehabilitation and continue to become a legend inspired Philip to go into the healthcare field. Apart from basketball, he enjoys working out, learning about cars, and hanging out with friends.
