Therapists & Staff

 

Our approach is always individualized and intelligent. We provide the best in traditional, manual, and manipulative physical therapy. Our techniques are the most modern, research backed and driven therapeutic approaches. Treatment takes place in a comfortable, fully equipped physical therapy facility, located in easily accessible midtown Manhattan.

Tsahi Niv,
DPT, MTC
Rami Jazrawi, DPT, OCS

Dr. Niv graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Hunter College, City University of New York in 1993. He continued his clinical education with the Institute of Physical Therapy (presently a part of the University of St. Augustine), and later on with the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). He was awarded a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy by the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2003. Dr. Niv has been actively involved in research and development of therapeutic products and treatment methods and is an adjunct professor at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and its orthopedic section, as well as the American and the International Academies of Orthopedic Manual and Manipulative Physical Therapy. After working at Staten Island University Hospital as a Physical Therapist, a clinical instructor for therapists in training, and as a supervisor of the Bach School and the M.S. clinic, Dr. Niv established Manhattan Sports & Manual Therapy in 1996.

Dr. Rami Jazrawi received his degree as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Touro College, 2010. Dr. Jazrawi is also recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association as a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist, a certification held by less that 10% of all physical therapists. He has continued his education with coursework in gait analysis, functional movement screening, lower extremity loading response and clinical instruction. Rami continues to expand his education with coursework relating to neck and spinal rehabilitation. Rami is passionate about dynamic movement analysis and sport specific rehabilitation. 

He has participated in competitive and recreational sports since the age of five and is currently an avid golfer and is passionate about body-weight strength training. Furthermore, he is certified with the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) to perform biomechanical swing analysis. On weekends, Rami takes advantage of the outdoors with climbing, hiking, hockey,  and snowboarding.

Dr. LiliAnn Schramm graduated from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2021. She has extensive clinical experiences working in the outpatient orthopedic setting, as well as with middle school, high school, college, and professional athletes. She believes in developing individualized treatment approaches for each of her patients - tailored specifically for their injuries and goals. LiliAnn is also certified in sports nutrition by the International Society of Sports Nutrition. She participated in competitive gymnastics for 13 years while growing up in Hawaii, which greatly influenced her interest in human anatomy and decision to pursue Physical Therapy. On weekends, LiliAnn enjoys working out, exploring the local food scene, and hanging out with friends.
