Tsahi Niv, DPT, MTC

Dr. Niv graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Hunter College, City University of New York in 1993.

He continued his clinical education with the Institute of Physical Therapy (presently a part of the University of St. Augustine), and later on with the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). He was awarded a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy by the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2003.

Dr. Niv has been actively involved in research and development of therapeutic products and treatment methods and is an adjunct professor at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.

He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and its orthopedic section, as well as the American and the International Academies of Orthopedic Manual and Manipulative Physical Therapy.

After working at Staten Island University Hospital as a Physical Therapist, a clinical instructor for therapists in training, and as a supervisor of the Bach School and the M.S. clinic, Dr. Niv established Manhattan Sports & Manual Therapy in 1996.

Rami Jazrawi, DPT, OCS

Dr. Rami Jazrawi received his degree as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Touro College, 2010.

Dr. Jazrawi is also recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association as a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist, a certification held by less that 10% of all physical therapists.

He has continued his education with coursework in gait analysis, functional movement screening, lower extremity loading response and clinical instruction. Rami continues to expand his education with coursework relating to neck and spinal rehabilitation.

Rami is passionate about dynamic movement analysis and sport specific rehabilitation. He has participated in competitive and recreational sports since the age of five and is currently an avid golfer and is passionate about body-weight strength training.

Nikola Shannon, PTA

Nikola Shannon visited and obtained her Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy at Pavol Jozef Safarik University in Slovakia, 2017.

During her studies in Slovakia, she was able to help and develop connection with patients in hospitals and outpatient clinics.

In 2016, she gained experience in Neuro-Rehabilitation center in Czech Republic. She had privilege treating patients with neuromuscular disorders, hip and knee replacements , pelvic health problems in women and many more.

Being a very active from young age and seeing injuries through playing basketball and volleyball the kinesiology taping course was one of her favorite experiences through her studies. After graduating from college she had opportunity to move to United States and pursue her degree here and became licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.

Working at MSMPT gives her ability to educate and empower people about how to be physically aware of their bodies and improve their overall quality of life. Working with an amazing team of Physical Therapists allows her to provide the best care for patients and makes the common goal very meaningful. Many experiences in her career have motivated her to continue learning and pursue a higher level of education.

To become a Licensed Physical Therapist is something she has always dreamt of and is the next step in her professional goals. It doesn’t feel like work when you love what you do every day, and that’s why she is blessed and thankful for this career path she has chosen. When she is not working, Nikola is enjoying time with her family, exploring new places, food and outdoor activities.

Sergio Turelli, DPT

Dr. Sergio Turelli graduated from Rutgers University with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2023.

During his time at Rutgers, Sergio spent time honing his skills as a therapist across multiple outpatient, hospital, and high performance athlete settings. While completing his clinical experiences, Sergio received recognition for outstanding clinical performance while attending Rutgers.

Sergio intends to further his clinical education by becoming a board certified orthopedic specialist, and certified strength and conditioning coach. He believes that movement, proper strengthening, and slowly re-introducing activity can provide a successful outcome for patients looking to get back to the things they love doing.

Sergio is a huge NY sports fan, painfully loyal to the Mets, Knicks, and Giants. Sergio has an extensive sports and coaching background as he has played baseball and basketball from the age of 5 all throughout high school where he was a varsity letter-man for 3 years in both sports.

Aside from sports, Sergio is a big time foodie, whether it be fine tuning his cooking skills by watching some new “how to” video on YouTube, or indulging at a new restaurant that was recommended on his Instagram explore page. Sergio attributes all of his hard work in hopes of providing a better life for his two dogs at home.
